Dracula's castle

He moved his long arms, as though pushing something which I could not see out of the way. The wolves moved back and then even further back. Just then a heavy cloud passed across the face of the moon, and we were again in darkness. When I could see once more, the driver was climbing into the carriage, and the wolves had disappeared. This was all so strange and unnatural that I felt dreadfully scared. I was afraid to speak or move. We went on our way, now in almost complete darkness, because the thick clouds hid the moon. The journey seemed to go on as if it would never end.
