The adventure of the speckled band

We opened a small door and we went into the house. Inside there were doors for three bedrooms. Holmes didn't want to look in the third bedroom, so we went to the second room. This was where Miss Stoner was now sleeping - in the room where her sister had died. It was a friendly little room, with a low ceiling and a wide fireplace. There was a brown chest of drawers in one corner, a small bed and a dressing-table next to the window.
