Jack: OK, Let's decide about the menu.
Sam: Well, I thought we should make a green salad for the starter.
Jack: Maybe we should add something else to the salad like shrimp for example.
Sam: I don't think Ann likes seafood, how about smoked salmon?
Jack: Smoked salmon is a good idea. Now let's think about the main course. Since we are having fish for the starter we should have meat for the main course.
Sam: I love pork pie.
Jack: I know you do but that isn't Jane's favourite food. How about Chicken Kiev?
Sam: I have no idea how to cook that.
Jack: I am sure we can find reciepies on the net. I'll cook the Chicken Kiev.
Sam: Ok, I will make apple pie for dessert and we will have some chocolates with coffee.
Jack: That sounds good. Should we meet at my place at 2 pm? That will give us enough time to prepare everything for the evening.
Sam: Great. I will bring everything we need for the salad and the dessert.
