Jane: Does Linda work only with Pete?
Jack: Oh no, she does a lot of things for other people, but Pete is her main supervisor.
Jane: What does Pete do?
Jack: Pete is a researcher. He has worked in this laboratory for almost five years.
Jane: And who is the girl who is sitting in front of the microscope?
Jack: That's Susie, she's a student. She will be here for three months.
Jane: And the person next to her?
Jack: That's Margaret, she's a nurse. She has just brought something for Susie to examine.
Jack: Now let's go across the corridor to the office. I will introduce you to our boss, Professor Smith, and also to his secretary.
