Susan: Pete, do you see the woman at the far table? I am sure I have seen her before.
Pete: Which one? The older person sitting next to the guy with a moustache? Susan: No, the blonde woman. She is sitting with a female friend. Pete: Which one? Those two are both blonde. Susan: Oh come on, her friend has brown hair. The woman I mean has shoulder-length blonde hair. Susan: She is sitting with her profile to us. Pete: Oh I see, tall, slim and attractive, like my favourite film star. Susan: I don't think she is that attractive. And her nose is much longer. Pete: But she has a very good figure. Susan: OK, OK anyway, do you recognize her? Pete: Sorry, I've never seen her before. But maybe I should go and introduce myself. |
