When Mr Smith and his daughter Jill came back from a visit to Jill's friends, they brought a little dog back with them. Here, Mr Smith is explaining to Mrs Smith how they got the puppy.

	Then Leon told Jill that their dog had recently had puppies.
	So we went to Leon's house to see the puppies.
	We can explain.
	And everyone had a great time playing with the dog, especially Jill.
	Of course, then we just had to get that puppy.
	Next, he said that they have two puppies that need homes.
	You see, Jill's friend Leon brought his puppy to the party.
	It happened that one of the puppies climbed onto Jill's lap, and she was so happy.
	After that Jill would not stop asking to see the puppies.
