The part of the sentence: 'believe it or not' is not necessary to understand the meaning of the sentence. It gives extra information, therefore it should be separated from the main sentence by commas. 7. Today I went shopping played piano finished my book and prepared dinner. Yes     No   The correct punctuation of the sentence is: 'Today I went shopping, played piano, finished my book and prepared dinner.' The sentence lists a number of things the person has done. The list should be separated by commas. 8. Mr Carter, who was a manager of the football club, is now retired. Yes     No   The sentence is punctuated correctly. The name: 'Mr Carter' is enough to identify the person in the sentence. Therefore, the part: 'who was a manager of the football club' is extra information.   Next
